    Doug came to Melbourne as a research/clinical fellow in 2014 after completing a clinical fellowship in San Diego, California for retraining and to pursue a PhD. His research focuses on physiologic changes at birth, neonatal resuscitation during delayed cord clamping, and uses for lung ultrasound in the delivery room. He has been conducting studies at Monash, where he is a consultant, and the RWH. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring Melbourne’s wonderful playgrounds with his sons, ages 7, 5, 3, and 3 months.
