Adam is a paediatric emergency physician who has worked at The Royal Children’s Hospital for over fifteen years. Over this he has become impassioned by ultrasound’s real-time anatomical and physiological information and its potential pivotal role in a busy paediatric emergency department.
While completing his Diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound he worked towards establishing a hospital wide point-of-care ultrasound program at the Royal Children’s Hospital. He has recently received funding that is starting to make this a reality.
Adam is a co-author of several publications relating to lung ultrasound, ultrasound guided fluid resuscitation, and the utility of ultrasound in ventriculo-peritoneal shunt dysfunction.
