Dr Jill Clarke is a Senior Lecturer in Medical Radiation Sciences at the University of Sydney with a background in general, cardiac and vascular sonography. She has been extensively involved in ultrasound education for sonographers and various professions learning ultrasound for specific applications. She supervises Masters and PhD sonographer projects and collaborates with researchers utilising ultrasound imaging in a fascinating variety of projects. Her pedagogical research includes higher education assessment and feedback, portfolio assessment and transition to workplace. Her clinical research interests include a novel method of carotid plaque measurement and its significance in stroke prevention.
