Dr. Waugh is the Director of Training at Monash BreastScreen in Melbourne. He has been involved with BreastScreen Victoria for 24 years and is a proud supporter of BreastScreen’s goals and standards.
His base at Monash screens over 55,000 women annually and detects over 300 new invasive cancers each year. Dr Waugh also holds consultant positions with other Screening services, and BreastScreen Australia.
He has spoken at several international meetings, most recently being invited by CANADIAN Consortium against Cancer to outline successes of the Australian Screening programme, and workshop their HIGH RECALL RATES.
