Dr. Rubin is a Professor Emeritus at the University of Michigan, USA. He has been involved in ultrasound scanning and research for over 30 years. He has extensive experience in flow imaging including Doppler techniques, decorrelation flow imaging, speckle tracking, and perfusion imaging, as well as elastography including strain, non-linear strain, and shear wave speed imaging. He has over 230 publications in multiple areas related to ultrasound imaging. He also has 13 patents related to several aspects of imaging, but largely directed toward ultrasound including fractional moving blood volume, which is critical for volume flow assessment.
