Julia completed her MD in Austria; she obtained her specialist qualification in O&G from the Royal College of Physicians in Ireland in 2013 and completed her PhD on the topic of Fetal Growth Restriction in 2014. In August 2014, Julia moved to Melbourne to undertake an 18-months fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine and to complete formal ultrasound training at the Royal Women’s Hospital. In February 2016, Julia was appointed as full-time staff specialist Consultant Obstetrician at the Royal Women’s Hospital. Emphasis of her clinical commitment is on obstetrical ultrasound, fetal medicine and prenatal diagnosis, high risk antenatal care, and labour ward management. She is a clinical senior lecturer at the University of Melbourne and continues to have an interest in research, in particular Fetal Growth Restriction.
