Richard Juska graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1981 and after undertaking five years of hospital clinical training as a medical officer, commenced as a General Pathology registrar at St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne. After obtaining the FRCPA in 1993, Richard joined Unipath Laboratories in Caulfield as a consultant General Pathologist. He has developed a special interest in breast pathology, dermatopathology of pigmented skin lesions, gastrointestinal pathology and gynaecological cytopathology. Richard currently is employed as a staff senior pathologist at Australian Clinical Laboratories in Clayton and is involved in the BreastScreen Victoria program (Eastern Health breast and cancer centre). He has also been the Chief Examiner in General Pathology for Australian based trainees since 2016.
