Joanne is a sonographer and radiographer at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne. She completed her Graduate Diploma in Ultrasound in 2016, and Bachelor of Radiography and Medical Imaging in 2009, both at Monash University. She has worked solely at RCH and has keen interest in paediatric gut pathology, cranial imaging, and trauma imaging in both general radiography and CT.
Outside of work, she is an avid baker, online shopper, and tries to keep up-to-date with Disney movies so she can converse with her young patients. She knows all verses of “Baby Shark”, as any paediatric sonographer will agree that that song has been a godsend with settling toddlers.
This is her first conference presentation so uncomplicated questions can be directed towards her during the break period where she will be found next to the snack table. Any complex questions will be hand-balled to her boss, Cain Brockley.
