Ulrike M. Hamper MD, MBA is a Professor of Radiology, Urology and Pathology at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. She has served as the Director of Ultrasound and the Medical Director of the Ultrasound School in the Johns Hopkins Imaging School at the Russell H. Morgan Department of Radiology. She also holds a Master in Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School. Dr. Hamper is a nationally and internationally recognized authority in the field of ultrasonography. Her research activities, clinical and teaching experiences are extensive, covering the entire spectrum of ultrasound and ultrasound guided interventional procedure. She is the author or co-author of over 200 peer reviewed publications and scientific abstracts in addition to numerous book chapters, 2 books and exhibits at major scientific meetings. Dr. Hamper has also been recognized by her peers through Fellowship selection in the Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound (FSRU), the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (FAIUM), the American College of Radiology (FACR) and the American Association for Women Radiologists (FAAWR).
